Triad is a culmination of three years of R&D after the Werk One, a 65% layout keyboard design.
Our aim was to push forward in terms of the bold promise of 80s futurism and an intricate sculptural design language, as well as learning about what makes a keyboard sound addictively satisfying.
A three main part geometry with steel inner and outer weights, assembled magnetically to a seamless uniform whole, with a tolerance fall within the range of ±0.001 inch (0.025 mm) requiring specialized custom tooling, meticulous process control and advanced measurement techniques.
With three different main configurations and dozens of possible combinations of materials and finishes, we wanted to enable you to freely customise your very own build, emphasising what makes a keyboard truly custom.

Architecture of Hybrid Gasket array

VERTICAL GASKETS
Custom molded soft silicone gaskets
helping the plate to self align and minimising
the vibration between top and bottom body
of the build
Symmetrically placed on each side of the “leafspring“ plate, three different gasket types are arranged into a gasket array that surrounds the switch plate vertically and horizontally. This allows us to combine a soft yet not too bouncy typing experience with high vibration absorption. Magnets help to minimize unwanted pressure on the gaskets and contact between metal parts
PORON HORIZONTAL GASKETS
- white poron for brighter sound profile and stiffer feel
- black high return rate poron for darker sound
